Why does fs17 download mods so slow?

I have the small case combine and header and it only goes between kmph on field 16 in wbh.

I'm coming back since release and had tons of mods to install and update. It took almost 2 hours mainly cause of 2 maps I wanted. Regardless, I've wanted to stick with the in game mods since they can easily be updated instead of using a mod website. One thing to check is to see if the mod is packaged correctly. I have seen some mods have a zip within a zip so you need to extract the internal zip and put that in the mods folder.

I have seen other mods that when you open the zip there is a folder and then within the folder is the mod files and folders. Im not super good with files like this, but if i open the file i dont see any extra zips or errors?
